Default New - 8-9week old yorkie

Hi, I'm new to the fourms and been browsing through the internet, but I can not seem to find a straight answer. I have am a pervious dog owner, but this is my first "small breed" dog.

Chewy (our yorkshire terrier) is 8 to 9 weeks old. He is being fed Puppy small bites Science Diet.

I've asked our vet about this and I am not trying to discrimante his credibility as I've been going to him for years, but he said that a healthy meal for this type of small breed dog would be 15 of the small bits of food.

To me this seems extremely small, even for this breed. He explained to me how small there stomach is, but I still can't grasp it. As soon as I will put the food in his bowl he will eat it up extremely fast and be gone in less than 10seconds.

I figured this would be a good place from other owners that have experiance with this.

Any input on this would be nice.
