Beware of the puppy kibble during gestation. Some contain too much calcium and you will be setting your gal up for eclampsia or a possible c-section. If the paratyroid gets lazy because it doesn't need to release stored calcium from the bones because there is an over abundance of it in her food than when her body needs calcium to give strength and intensity to a contraction there will be none available. A good quality adult food should really be sufficient to meet her needs.
