i'm sorry some things are getting worse.
it seems like your doing everything right. I guess it just takes time. Buddy should eventually adjust to her. He may not love her but he should at least tolerate her to the point where he can go back to his normal ways. Keep at it. things will change for the better soon. i know its stressful and upsetting.
