My Vegas woes! I had mentioned we were going to Vegas to meet up with some family members from the 17th till the 20, and also said we would be bringing the three fur-girls and staying at the Marriott Residence Inn, which we dearly love the one in Morgan Hill. The one in Vegas was stinky, filthy carpet and their breakfast is not very nice. WELL, we will never go back to Vegas again. All the family members said the same thing. It was so poluted and dirty that we felt oily & dirty by the end of the day. The hotel doesn't water the grass so it was dead and nasty dirty. They have the waste bags for owners to pick up after their dogs, but by the looks of the grounds, no one ever did. Horrible. Walking along the strip was just pure torture. All you smell is carbon monoxide from the zillions of cars, buses and you name it, and cigarette smoke. Our clothes smelled horrible by dinner time and we all had to shower and put more clean clothes on before eating. The fur-girls were so nasty by the time we got home that it took three baths each to get them clean.
I wanted to take pictures of the girls but there was no nice area and we didn't take them on the strip.
Prices on food and all has gone up so much it's starting to be a rich mans sin city. We were there 7 years ago and couldn't believe how inexpensive food and shopping was. HA, now you can't even buy a simple neck scarf under $40.00, and a tiny bottle of water for $2.00 and up.
Since the experience was so bad, I wasn't going to share the trip with anyone, but I thought long and hard and decided to let everyone know what they will find if they go there. |
