Dakota's fur was so thick...you couldn't see or feel her skin..if you stuck your fingers in it. She was allowed inside though...and miserable in the Virginia heat and humity in the summer.
My brother's lab loves to stay outside...you have to literally bring her inside...even if it's raining.
