 A World of Pets
Has anyone else had a bad experience with this pet store? I went to the one in Bay Ridge (86th street and 5th ave). When I first got Tabitha, she looked fine at the store but when I took her home she had diarrhea for days. The people at the store said I have a week to take her to the vet. They told me there was 2 vets I can go to and they were close to the store. When I took her to one of the vets they recommended, he said she was perfectly healthy. I was skeptical so I took her to another vet and he gave her some medicine for the diarrhea. I can't really recall what she had.
Not only that, but they were trying to ring up items that I didn't even agree to buying (food, pads, toys). I told them that I have plenty at home since I have another yorkie and she just gave me an attitude as she voided the items.
I met 2 dog owners at my vets office and both of them said that when they bought their dogs, they did not have a good experience either.
