There have been several threads along time that have said the samething.
Yes, those of us who have the larger Yorkies have heard this also.
Most people who say these rude comments have no understanding of
the breed. They only know that Yorkies are suppose to be small.
Next time someone makes a comment like that educate them and say
that the original Yorkshire Terrier weighed up to 20lbs! That should
stop them in their tracks I love the Teapot's. You can play rougher
with them and not worry so much about their little legs and knees.
I find it much less stressful raising Buddy then if he were 3-4 lbs.
I would have had a stroke by now with the things he get's into.
Don't feel bad she didn't know any better is all.
