I don't have too many problems with charger cords because we try to keep them all up on counters, etc. But I do have one chair that is nearly chewed through. Reggie chewed it when he was a puppy, and now Coby is trying to finish the job. You've gotten some good suggestions... the securing of the cords and the bitter apple spray. I've always said child-proofing was waaaay easier than puppy-proofing.
Matthew, in my relationship, I am the one who can see the shortest distance between two points. So my advice to you is what I give my husband.... just make sure to stay out of the way so I can see!!
