 Has anyone ever heard of displaced ribs?
I did not post in the emergency section, as this is not an emergency, just a concern. My Brandi Blu was born with bones stcking out (one in the chest area, and one more towards the stomach). The vet said she had displaced ribs which most likely occured during the birthing process. He said that "most likely" she will have little or no effects from this in the future.
Does anyone else have a baby with displaced ribs? You can actually feel the bone sticking out when I pick her up, but she has no discomfort from it at all. She's an acrobat for sure, and we are always worried about her "delicate" nature, but she seems to be just as rough and tough as the rest of them!
Also, does anyone know of any potential problems she may face later on in life? Right now she is 4 months old. |
