mocha used to do that. she went down to the core wires in my phone charger and laptop charger and i think she may have shocked herself because she does not go near a cord anymore. she's fine--happy and healthy (i had her checked so many times), but i think she scared herself by doing it.
i keep cords in cord organizers (plastic tubes) and i buy her a ton of toys to chew on and bully sticks. she chews them happily.
