I know to some this may sound harsh but i've seen it work. My daughter had a boy yorkie who would bite and actually draw blood...she tried everything to stop this behavior and then she sent him to me. The first night here my husband went to put him in his kennel at bedtime and before he could get his hand out the dog bit him and left 4 good, sharp, puppy teeth bites that bled like crazy. This puppy was also four months old. We decided the next day that it was tough love time.
What we started doing was every time he went to bite (which was often) we would just give a little shake of the scruff on the back of his neck with a firm NO! Within two days he was a different dog and he was able to go back home with my daughter and it was never a problem again. He is now six months old. Hope this helps. |
