First of all, the person you bought your Yorkie from should have told you that yorkies are prone to not loosing their teeth, so you would have expected it. I go to a animal hospital, there are about 7 vets that work there and they are top of the line (more expensive) but current on all new info, procedures etc. Anyway, they also are preventative. If you do not remove those baby teeth, you take a chance of infection (because the food gets trapped), and of theyre teeth getting out on line, the baby teeth often times will shift the permanant teeth, messing up their bite. Its important they come out.
