I agree that he should be seen by a neurologist just to be sure. I know you need a referral to see one because i have a neurologist at the hospital i work for. Ask your vet to refer you. Tell him that you want to be sure. He will call the neurologist and tell them what's going on. Then you can call the neurologist to set up an appointment. Your vet cannot deny you the referral if that is what you want. You are just doing what's best for your dog.
