Well............ If I was in your situation, I would put her in the bathroom (easier to clean the floors), and put some newspaper in there for messes, and her food and water (won't hurt to have it all day), and make sure you put some blankets and stuff in there to make her cozy. Make sure you put everything up though. If you have a big kennel, that works great too! Praying for your grandson. How scary. You DEFINATELY need to be there for your son and his family. God'll take care of your baby.
About the ears, I never heard of a breeder actually taping their ears. Did they snip her ears to get them to stand? Or just taped?
