LOL!! my girl climbed out of her pen the 1st day i left her... i feel your pain
.. i tried putting a sheet over, trust me i tied it really tight... and sure enough she still got out.. climbed right underneeth it. i had to buy the top for the pen.. and since i've gotten that i've had no worries and absolutely no escapes!
