okay you guys, heres whats up
I was searching for a neurologist online, someone said cornell? thats VERYYYYYY far from me. Now, there are a few on the island, but, they all require a referral to be seen. So, I took him to the vet, now I know what your all going to tell me but heres what the vet said.
He examend him, looked at his eyes, ears, did something with the neck? checked his teeth, watched him walk and stumble, heard my story, and explained something about the vestibular part of the brain, and how it could cause him to be acting this way. He gave me medicine for it and he wants to see how that goes and to bring him back for a visit next week. He said it takes time, even weeks, and sometimes it never goes away. This guy really sounded like he knows what hes doing.
oh and he also said hes heard so many complaints about that hospital, and he said that cosmo is on a high dose of steroids and to give him HALF of what hes on.
