However you want to introduce your dog slowly to the new food. When I brought Zeus home he was on anther brand I had never heard of so over a 7 day period I add both food together starting out useing a bigger percetage of the old food and end with hardly any of the old food. Zeus also had tape worm shrotyl after I brought him home and he got the runs from his meds the doctors said most would not but he did - you would have thought a diaper had exploded (haha). If his stool does not start to get harder I would check with vet, I think mine has a hot line just for me - I call if the dog just looks sad or doesn't play as much - what can I say it's mom in me....
