I switched Jambo to raw at 4 months old. I have tried to get him to eat a variety of meats but he just won't touch the meats other than chicken and only the pre-frozen (Primal, Stella & Chewys, Nature's Variety) at that. He will eat lamb but only the ones I get from the natural pet store from Harmony Farms. I have tried giving him beef, venison, turkey,etc. and he does not go for it. Unlike some dogs, it wasn't a smoothe transition to raw. I did not have any problems digestion wise but it took him a while to warm up to it. He really liked biting into dry kibble. I think we are in the same vicinity so let me know if you have questions about where to get this stuff. |
