 New puppy owner - Need advice
Hello everyone. Our family just purchased a yorkie about 2 weeks ago and we seem to be having some issue I hoped someone could help me with. Our baby (Brutus) has been to the vet twice. Once for a routine checkup and once because he has worms. He is on medication because of a parasite, and he had problems with his anal glands. My concern is: is it normal for a 7 week old yorkie to poop up to 8 times a day?? His stools are not solid, they appear to be loose. We feed him Purina Puppy Chow 3 times a day because that is what he was given prior to us taking him home. Could all this be from the worms and medicine or should I look at switching his food. I have never owned a dog so this is all very new to me. Thanks! |
