I'm not too familiar with importing dogs but I do know that you don't have to pay $2,000 for a yorkie! If you're patient enough, you can find breeders in your local newspaper, the older ladies that do it just as a hobby and not a source of income. I bought my little boy for $400.00. I had to sit around for a good month and a half before finding such a great price and the breeder I am buying it from is an absolute doll. I really can't afford something past $700.00.
But I'm sure if you wait around, the right price will come along. Were you looking for the toy yorkies? Is that why they're so expensive?!
