Janice just called she talked with a sigh of relief because her baby is ALIVE!!!! Those were her exact words to me LUCY IS ALIVE! Folks I do not know if you undertand but this is one of the most major surgeries a yorkie can go through and their chances are slim to none!
She got to see Lucy this morning. Lucy is in a great deal of pain. She is discussing with them something to stabilize her neck as well as more pain meds....Lucy is not in a cast.... I am concerned about that but others yorkie parents have done well and they were not in a cast either.. It may depend on the dog.. I am not sure.. I do know this.. I know that if a human breaks their neck they are in a neck brace! Why are all these dogs not being braced or casted I dont know......
I do know Janice is the best mom and is doing everything in her will power to get the best care for Lucy....I commend her 100%
Janice is on her way home be sure and leave her birthday wishes. Her birthday was yesterday. She will update the site soon.... I got cut off with her as my phone went dead ...
