Well its that time of year again. Toby has spent all winter in Florida with my parents. Being Easter is early this year my parents want to come home. Toby had a great winter down there. He had one relapse with the fluid filling his chest cavity which drained with anti-biotics. Unfortunately the vet in Florida wanted to give him Lasix but I told them no. So my vet in Canada faxed all his medical charts and then they realized that he didn't need to take it. For some unknown reason now, Toby can hear a little better as well as see a little better. They weaned him off the Prednisone to every other day. Could that do it? Well anyways I thought I would update on him. 16.5yo and going strong!
