My female had pups three weeks ago tomorrow. Two girls and one boy. The girls are doing fine. This morning their weights were 9 & 10 oz. The little boy I'm concerned about. His weight is 5 3/4 oz. as of this morning. The vet said their was no need to supplement him, just make sure he had one on one with the Mama. That is what I have been doing. Last night I was up most of the night because he was crying. I checked him over to see if I could see if he was hurt. I found nothing. I tried to get him to nurse, but he wasn't interested. My question is could he have gas, or an upset stomach? If he continues to cry and doesn't nurse I will take him to my vet but I see nothing visibly wrong with him.
