Our vet recommended a Maltese. We were talking to her because we are wanting to add a house dog to our family. We wanted a yorkie and I have been researching them as much as I could. This forum has been awesome and I'm so glad I found it. She said we might want to consider a Maltese as well. I've been researching them now as well. I had noticed where some posters her have both Yorkies and Maltese. I would love to hear all the info on Maltese that you could share. And those of you that have both how are they different vs alike. There doesn't seem to be many Maltese for sale in this area but tons of Yorkies...this scares my because I know the backyard breeders are everywhere!!
