I currently have two yorkie puppies as well! One is 5 months, the other is 3 months.... I am not having alpha dog troubles, they both seem to obey my fiance and i as well (we seem to have a lot in common) but their potty training is getting difficult... the older one is going potty everywhere and my fiance is just cannot stand it. I need a lot of help with them... my fiance loves them but he cannot stand the messes everywhere... she seems to be going well now, and now even running to her pad most of the time but she isn't pooping on the pad, and he is peeing there as of today (yesterday he actually pottied EVERY WHERE) but I have not seen him poop on there today... therefore not sure about him... But about the separation, don't separate them! Especially if they have already become buddies, since then they will probably associate each other, and being together with something they shouldnt do... and I do not think that is your goal. Since you got two... and i got two too... For A Reason!!!
