There are many yorkies that have floppy ears...if you do a search on here of "floppy ears" you are apt to find pictures of some with ears that way. Sometimes the ears are to large to stand and/or to much hair was left on them and weighed them down. My first yorkie's ears flop over just a bit...I didn't know any better back then and didn't even think/know to try taping them.
There are also MANY yorkies (again here on YT) that are over the standard 3-7 lb size....and many that are over your girls 12 lbs. Again, a search of maybe the word "teapot yorkies" might find you pictures of some of them.
