oh you dont need to cut certain things in the picture. What you do you take a backround you want to use and make it just a little bit bigger then the picture. Then you need to use Clone Stamp Tool. Its in the menu where the blur tool is. Click on clone stamp tool and go to your backround photo click on the top left corner of the backround with that tool and then go to your original picture and start drawing around the subject creating the backround. This method is much easier then cutting the pic and transfer to the backround. Hope I was able to explain it
