Just to expand on what Kyle pointed out...
My mom stayed there (checked into a Disney resort the next day) once and said it was a nice hotel...just not Disney themed. You can walk across the street to Downtown Disney for clubs, food and shopping. Also all the Downtown Disney area hotels share (free) bus transportation to and from the Disney parks, just like all the other resorts.
