SD is not the best food on the market...but sounds like you already know that.
What is considered the "best food" on the market (aside from being opinion to begin with) may not be the "best food" for your individual dog.
That being said, I do feed this food as part of the diet for my 3 and have no complaints. Granted, they get other foods and supplements as well. If you try a few things and determine that his is the food that is best for your little one, supplement her diets with anything that may be missing as well.
