I am so very sorry that little Laya is having skin/hair problems. I always suggest starting with a good vet check up to make sure that there is nothing physically wrong. The next step would be to be sure that you are feeding a good quality, coat friendly food - and knowing you I am sure that you are . Emu oil is a fantastic supplement.

When I started having dry coat problems with Chattie, I tried several different foods, using each one at least 6 months to give it plenty of time to see a difference. What works for me is Canidae All Life Stages. I give her about 3 to 5 drops of Emu Oil daily as a supplement. The difference in her coat is incredible. I use MinkSheen Shampoo and after baths I use about 5 or 6 drops of the same Emu Oil I use as a food supplement into her coat.
