I'm just looking for some advice here..... I would love to find a mentor locally but can you believe that I can't? I'm still looking but there is no breeder on the YTCA website in my area code, I have started going to local AKC kennel club meetings which covers 3 counties locally, I also looked into the next closest kennel club and there are no yorkie breeders who belong to either. So here is my question..... would it be better to try to find a local mentor who breeds a different toy breed, maybe poodles? Or would it be better to try to find someone who is not local but shows yorkies? Which would you do?
