It's rare that a woman in what seems to be a bit of an abusive relationship leaves the husband. Usually, just from experiences they end up staying and things calm down for awhile when the husband thinks she may actually leave then of course they stir back up again and so on and so forth. I just hope for the sake of this poor Yorkie she finds a nice quiet stable home with your mom. I'll keep good thoughts that this pans out.
