...not to mention the money it would cost to sue someone and bring them to small claims court. if the puppy gets sick, its a tough lesson learned for your friend. unfortunately there is nothing she can do except love the puppy no matter what.
if she really wanted to get back at the "breeder" she could always do some investigating work to see what the conditions are that they breed in. if it is a puppy mill you may want to look into contacting rescue groups and shelters to try to get the person shut down. there have been other threads on here where YT members have put forth a huge effort to get puppy mills shut down.
