Yes, if we had to use a leash walking Tatum around the yard, the retractable would be a good idea but not for the kinds of places we go with her where other animals or harmful people might be. I'm not saying it's a bad idea in every situation, just keep in mind that it's not the quickest way to regain control of them in an emergency situation.
