and say that I do completely understand the OP's feelings. To assume that a person can't have a litter of puppies and children at the same time, and care for both adequately....especially without knowing that person personally....is just too presumptuous (sp?). I do understand where you are coming from, it is true that both are demanding. But untrue that you can't do both adequately at once.

Now, I'm not saying that the OP can or can't do it. I'm just saying that none of us know if she can or not. Just MHO.
