It really depends on how big your want it, how intricate you want it, and how much you want to pay as far as getting the professionals to do it. Here is a website for somone who does them: http://www.photoquiltcreations.com/home
It says 1-3 weeks which sounds about right, but the prices are a little steep. I can post pictures of the one I just finished when I get home tonight. Its a lap quilt and it took about a week but its probably got some imperfections. But I've learned from my mistakes and I think my next one will be perfect! LOL!
