breeds I do not think having more then one breed raises a reg flag. It is not uncommon for extremely reputable breeders to have 2, even 3...but IMO you have to look at all the others factors. I had Doxies and Yorkies at one time...I concentrated on the Yorkies and used a mentor for the Doxies...bought stud service, had her evaluate, took short cuts by askng her first without reading or going to a shows and speaking to other Doxie breeders, although I did show them a bit...and I had just as nice pups as my mentor, because I bought her bitches and used her studs, basically did as I was told so I would not screw up the breed...
All my time was consumed with the breed of Yorkies and found it so hard to learn all the kennel names, pedigrees of both breeds, history, health issues, on and on..it never ended.
I am trying to learn about the Biewers and it is harder for me...I find myself taking short cuts, as with the Doxies, but I have a few mentors and do not plan on breeding, so I feel I can't hurt the breed...
