I don't think you can compare a ear piercing with cutting a tail.......there is so much diference between that, and I thanks my mom for doing that when I was a newborn, because you remenber the pain when you get older . My daugther , she didn't even wake up when she had that done. Puppies have tails sensitive, and they have nerves too.
