Wow...this post hits close to home becuase it's happened in my home!!!
Bella was chewing up carpet in my dinning area and some in my bedroom. I dont understand what the attraction to the carpet is! However, I figured out a way to deter it and guess what, IT WORKED! I bought some bitter apple and whenever I saw that she was sniffing around the carpets, I'd spray bitter apple on the carpet. After trying twice to chew at it, she learned her lesson and haven't tried again since. Give spraying bitter apple on your stuff, it'll work...I know!
