I think "overweight" is relative to the bone structure of your dog. If you can't feel the pup's ribs when you pet its side, then it might be a bit chubby. But think about human kids; there are some skinny babies and pudgy babies, but they all get fed about the same to make sure they grow into the healthy adolescent they are supposed to be. So I think it is just best to provide the puppy with plenty of nutrients and food for fun puppy energy, and tons of love!!

You won't really know until 9 or 12 months how big your puppy will be, and by then they will have captured your heart. AM I RIGHT YT?? I would love Tbone, 5lb or 50 lbs.
