I am sooo happy to read about large Yorkies, I thought mine was a fluke.
Misty is 7 mos and 9.5 lbs and I thought she was HUGE.

I wouldn't trade her for a little one ever. It's much easier to play w/ her w/o worring about hurting her, plus I have a 15 lb cat so they can play safely also.

18lbs DOES seem a little drastic however. I agree 14lbs TOPS!

I hope you Mom in law can keep the puppy. She will be very happy. But if she can't I am sure will find alot of people that will take the puppy and give it a good home.
