When I fist got Gus he was this tiny little chunkie fur ball. He grew quite a bit the fist 3 weeks here but didn't gain harly any weight. He too was so skinny, I mean I was able to feel his tiny ribs, he ate all the time and the vet said he was just fine. It wasnt till about a month ago he started gaining. He's a tiny furbaby,,,, at a year and 4 months he's only 2.9 lbs. He's only gained a little over a pound since I got him at 10 weeks. So if he loses or gains even an ounce I can tell. As long as the vet says your baby is healthy then I wouldnt worry. They do thicken up, at least Gus did. My husband just brought it to my attention last night on he looks like his chest is filling out and you can't feel his ribs at all anymore. He reminds me of a little mighty mouse.
