I have to keep them seperated. When I AM breeding them...they do their thing and no, it doesn't help him settle down...he's ready to go again right after.
Things don't quiet down for a good 3 weeks.
I have a good set up where I can block off entry ways and give the males run of the upper level and keep the girls on the lower level so I don't have to completely confine someone.
But yes....its quite the adventure |
Ohh i see. That makes sense but i can imagine it is still crazy. I tried seperating mine and still Teddy would scratch at the door till his nails bled and bark non stop. He feels no pain when he is in that state so i was just wondering how you do it. It's good though that you keep them in seperate floors, i guess that makes it easier. Thanks for clearing it up. So if you let them go at it and leave them alone they would just keep on and not get tired?

I thought once they tied and finished they get it out their system. I feel for you though, 3 more weeks, you must have a lot of patience. And i do but omg Teddy drove us crazy but we live in an apt. so it is diff.
