Animal Smiley 019 Spaying question

Olivia will be 6 months next week. I think she's about due for her spaying. I've been checking her teeth on a (nearly) daily basis and it seems like she hasn't lost a single baby tooth and isn't getting any of her adult teeth in yet. Should I hold off getting her spayed to see if her teeth begin to change? I hate to put her through 2 risky surgeries, but I'm scared to death of the cancer statistics of waiting to get a yorkie (or any dog) spayed. Everyone said that her once perky, now droopy ear was due to the fact that she's in her teething phase. It's still down, so I'm assuming that I haven't missed this process. Are the teething process and the timing of their heat connected at all? (If she hasn't begun teething yet, does that mean she'll come into her first heat later?)

What are your suggestions?
