I had a few horrible vets before I found my present vet, and this is how I found my new one. My old vet actually contributed to the death of my baby Starr, and here I'd thought he was a good vet all along, but in actuality, he was just NICE, not knowledgeable
That lack of knowledge helped to kill my little one
Anyway, I went to
http://www.YTCA.org and found a breeder close to me. I called her and she was more than happy to tell me about this great vet hospital, she was SO nice
If there aren't any breeders of Yorkies nearby, try to find another toy breed organization (Chihuahua, Maltese, etc.) and go from there. Good breeders KNOW which vets are good and which aren't and they should be more than happy to help you
