I'm in vet school now, and yes, I hope to make a good living. But that is no where near the reason why I want to be a vet...I could make a LOT more money doing other things (things that don't take so many years of school and cost so much in tuition). I'm sure there are a few vets/doctors out there that only care about making money, but the majority are in it for other reasons.
