I learned the hard way - that you have to limit access to your living areas. Oscar is allowed in the kitchen and dining room when i am home. i have it gated and another door is shut. what the success has been is that he stops in the middle of playing and will go right to the puppy pad...you are right, now i can RELAX. I was on pins and needles before just hoping he'd do the right thing. I think it also helps that I work and he is crated for 4.5 hours a day. He can hold his bladder up to five hours...but not any more. not five and half or six...so i am excited about the progress. I thought it wasn't going to end!! |
