I am not sure if this is what you mean, but, my aunts pomeranian had a false pregnancy and it lasted quite a while. She had never even been around a male. She just started acting strangely one day. She was scratching in corners, hiding under the bed, crying. Also, she had milk in her nipples. So my aunt took her to the vet, thinking she was sick and the vet said it was a false pregnancy and when she was scratching in corners, she was actually 'looking for her puppies!' It was all very very very sad. Now, she is back to normal.
