She'll be going back for her check up here really soon and hope it's a good report. It just sickens me all that she's had to go through since she's been here in this world. I DEFINATELY wanna get her spayed regardless of if she had the mites or not, I'm not into breeding, never have been, never will be. I'm so nervous and scared though about her going under, she's so small, a mere 2 pounds 8 ounces and she's 13 weeks old now. I haven't asked my vet yet if there's an age or weight limit for her to be spayed but I plan to at her check up. With all she's had to go through already though, she hasn't even been able to get all her shots! She was able to have one set and then this happend. I know stress can trigger it to come out if they have it, so I'm kinda wondering if her having her first set of vaccines may have triggered it? The stand in vet that was there when I took her in said the regular doc may very well hold off on any other shots until this is cleared up. I don't think he'll even spay her till this is cleared up either, which I wouldn't allow anyhow. I just want her immune system back up to par and her to be HEALTHY before anything. It makes me so mad when I think of the horrid conditions she came from. I know it takes a lot to breed and care for pups and get them to good, forever loving homes, if someone isn't willing to put into it all that it requires, they shouldn't breed! Because of the ladies ignorance, lack of caring and so forth, Maggy has had to contend with so much already. I'm glad your furbaby is doing well, I bet your very relieved.
