Default size

I would guess around 12 to 14 pounds. Some breeders breed from larger stock and get oversized in the line.
I do understand having a problem caring for a larger Yorkie if you are older. I have several elderly friends who do not have the strength to pick up a ten pound, let alone 18 pound dog of any breed. Having a 4 or 5 pounder makes it easier for them.
Do the Yorkie a favor and find a home where he will be happy and size is not important.
